Mombie — CineMsg Pro is a messaging prop tool built for film, television and streaming productions. It solves one tedious, recurring problem on set: how do you get a convincing, clearance-safe text message onto a real phone — exactly on cue, every take?
The old answers were green-screen phones, expensive screen replacement in post, or legal risk from shooting real messaging apps. Mombie removes all three. A director or script supervisor runs the Director Suite on a tablet while the actor holds a real phone running Actor Mode. One session code pairs them in under a minute.
Seven original interface skins — iMessage-style, WhatsApp-style, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, generic and sci-fi — all clearance-safe, with no trademarked assets on camera. Fire typing bubbles, scripted lines, read receipts and calls; control brightness, colour and haptics; lock the device so nothing the actor taps can break the take.
Built for prop masters, directors, DPs, DITs, production legal and creators alike. It scales from a solo shooter making social content to a full unit delivering to a streamer or theatrical release. If there's a phone on camera, Mombie owns the screen.
